The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is that Person of GOD that comforts and guides all believers in Christ Jesus.  He instructs, empowers, enlightens, as well as strengthens all believers in Christ. (Acts 1:7-8).  On the day of Pentecost (50 days after Jesus’ Resurrection) when all of the disciples of Jesus and other believers were gathered in “the upper room” and became of one accord, the Holy Spirit descended upon them like a strong driving wind causing them to speak in tongues and give vent and joy to His coming.  Since then, the Holy Spirit has made Himself known to all believers in Jesus Christ in every generation (Acts 2:1-19).
